Rush Limbaugh managed to put the whole surveillance scandal into one simple sentence: Obama’s administration plotted a secret war against President Donald Trump, and intelligence services were his strongest ammunition. The conservative talk show host attracted everyone’s attention with the shocking statement, and many Americans supported his opinion.
The whole thing started on March 4 when President Trump came out with serious accusations against Obama and his wiretapping. The President claimed that the Trump Tower was wiretapped, but his accusations faced strong denial. But, the next revelation changed everything. Susan Rice, Obama’s former national security adviser, revealed the people whose communications were “incidentally” caught by the surveillance avalanche.
As Limbaugh said, the latest “detail” uncovers an entire conspiracy. “But, the real scandal here – and it’s becoming increasingly clear – is that the Obama administration weaponized politically our intelligence services against the Republicans and against Trump. I, for one, am not surprised,” explained Limbaugh.
Limbaugh reminded everyone of Obama’s surveillance on the President’s transition team, adding that the former president “unmasked people who were not targets of legitimate surveillance and investigation.” He also talked about the leaks Obama’s White House made, referring to the protected information.
The host mentioned the role of mainstream media outlets who shared the information, and helped Obama. He called them “the drive-by media,” and added that their journalists shared the story without identifying the sources. What kind of a conspiracy is this?
Limbaugh explained that Obama found a new way to blast Trump, because surveillance procedures aren’t allowed without any strong proof.
He noted that the whole scandal doesn’t involve the President’s relationship with Russia, but the surveillance on his transition team.
This opens a brand new gate, and now we can only imagine the future development of events.
